Marty is a native of Lynchburg, Ohio. After growing up on a farm in America’s heartland, she attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Upon graduation and receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin her professional career as an artist in a local advertising agency. After 10 years as an advertising artist, and a move to Dallas, Texas, she has redirected her artistic efforts back to the Fine Art foundation laid at Miami University. Marty works in pastel and pencil. Although portraiture is Marty’s primary subject, she has received commissions for still life, landscape and animal paintings. Combining her fine art talent with her professional advertising experience, Marty not only has the ability to work closely with her clients, but enjoys completing work that responds directly to their needs. An award winning artist in both advertising and fine art, Marty’s work is in collectors’ homes and businesses throughout the United States and England.
